Monday after the Holiday

Welcome back from you holiday. I trust you have had a wonderful time at home with family and friends.
I forgot to tell you last Friday that I will not be there for class on Monday because I have to go to a doctor appointment with  my son.
How ever do not despair, I have work for you all.

I would like you to choose a topic under Outline from the topics we are working with now, namely Youth, and make an outline. Remember to note your name, class, main topic, subtopic, reason for choosing this topic, and what you what to talk about. If you are able to find sources in the time you have Monday, please do so too. If in doubt look under Outline and there you will find a guideline to the exams and in that you can find an example of an outline too.

We will look them over Tuesday, so remember to bring them Tuesday together with your computer, papers etc.
If you have any questions I will be at the school from 5 pm. Monday evening.

Casual- /Flipflopping Friday

Casual Friday is an expression from Australia, which basically relates to the fact that many people working in offices are allowed to wear casual clothes on Fridays instead of the normal business-suit. Flipflopping Friday is a praise of the fact that it is Friday and therefor soon the weekend.

Well apart from this small information about ozzy expressions, I will ask you to bring your notebook and/or your computer, you may need it for the group work after we have watched the rest of the film.

Oh and I hope to be able to give back your assignments too.

Youth

So we have started our new topic Youth. We saw the first 25 min of The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, and will continue on Monday with more film.
So there is no need to bring anything :-)
